Arts in Context

Anna Krachey

Special | 4m 28s

Through photography, Anna Krachey works to create tension in familiarity in her works using everyday objects normally overlooked. She reveals objects' mysterious value through bright, saturated images. Her 4x5 camera makes shooting a methodical process; the images appear upside down which helps to abstract the actual image thats being made and helps remove herself from the literal perspective.
